Helicobacter pylori

The bacterium known as Helicobacter pylori can colonize the stomach and produce both local and systemic complications. Gastritis, heartburn, ulcer, and reflux disease, as well as reduction in acid secretion are all common effects from this infection.

But new studies also suggest that this same organism may be able to set off auto-immune diseases such as ITP (Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, low platelets), acnerosacea, and chronic hives (urticaria).

Half of all ITP cases with a positive H. Pylori test, and 75% of those with urticaria and rosacea will clear up with attention to this connection. These are very common diseases with poor existing treatment protocols, and these response figures are hugely encouraging for these patients.

If you suffer from any of these conditions, make an appointment to be tested with an open minded and competent natural medicine physician. To my knowledge there are no orthodox physicians who are testing for and treating H Pylori in these other non-gastrointestinal autoimmune disease types of cases.
